    Gain a competitive edge with Artificial Intelligence for Geoscience, a 40-hour short course for professionals and students. This course will examine the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to apply Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts to the field of geosciences.

     

    Upon completion, course participants will be able to apply the knowledge and algorithms learned immediately, both in their research and in their professional careers.

     

     

    Artificial Intelligence for Geoscience will be offered in Spanish over four Saturdays in November. An identical English-language course will be offered in early 2021. Contact us for additional information.
    Who Should Attend

    The course is designed for geology, geophysics, petroleum engineering, and mineral resource exploration and development Exploitation professionals and students interested in strengthening their knowledge of Python programming and learning about its applications in Artificial Intelligence (Machine Learning and Deep Learning).
    Course Dates and Structure
    • Session I: Python Basics (7 November)
    • Session II: Applied Python (14 November)
    • Session III: Machine Learning (21 November)
    • Session IV: Deep Learning (28 November)

    Total hours: 40 (32 instruction hours and 8 hours of exercises)

    3.2 Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) awarded upon completion.
